MiVEG – Adequate Partner for the Food Industry
Nearly 40 years ago, Erika and Lothar Kracker have founded their family owned company. Now in second generation – under the leadership of Mr. Lars Kracker – MiVEG acts as a world-wide partner for special machines for the food industry, as supplier of wooden skewers and Party Pickers and as a creative vendor of standard and individual food packaging. Mr. Kracker as president is supported by Mrs. Erika Kracker who is in charge of finances and 17 employees at the headquarters in Röttenbach. Both, our client base and our product portfolio have constantly been increasing. This was and is possible because of our long-term partnerships with customers as well as suppliers.
Special Machines – from Spikomat to our Semi-Automated Skewering System
This business unit is based on the development of innovative special machines which consistently offer flexible and effective solutions to the Food Industry. The basis was formed by the company’s founder, Mr. Lothar Kracker, with the Spikomat®, a manual equipment for production of meat skewers, in the development of which he was significantly involved. On the other hand, since 1994 we have been working closely with the U.S. American company Automated Food Systems, Inc. as European distribution partner for CORNDOG production lines. Within this cooperation we have launched in 2000 the semi-automated skewering system KW2001 and in 2007 the Wrapping Master “KK-2006” for production of Grill Sticks, closely followed by the Wrapping Monster “KFM-2007” for expanded capacities. Further developments are already being planned.
Wooden Skewers and Party Pickers – FSC – sustainability is important !
As a socially engaged company we know about our responsibility. Therefore we have successfully run through the FSC certification for our beech wood skewers and have also integrated our sub-suppliers in the production chain. With a quantity of nearly 200 millions of beech wood skewers we offer for all our machines the correct type of skewers. A constant exchange of ideas with our partners is the basis of developing new products in time for the season. To complete this range of products, we offer a constantly increasing number of Party Pickers that are offered also in our online-shop under www.spiesse-shop.de, so that everyone can buy them and create modern snacks.
Food Packaging – Natural Products, efficiently and attractively packed
Closeness to fresh products has increased the demand for individual packaging in the field of take-away-meals. As a dealer we offer solutions for our customer’s demands and together with our well-known suppliers we act as a successful team to also fulfil special requests of our customer. Although offering a wide range of products we attach a great value to on-time deliveries. This is well appreciated by our customers and proved by the long term relationships we have with them. More than 70 % of our turnover is created with customers we already know for more than 5 years.
